Envelope dispute breaks out in wedding convoy in Çorum! He ran over his friend with his car

A fight broke out in the Alaca district of Çorum while a wedding convoy was passing through.

M.Ç. (24) blocked a wedding convoy on Zile Street with his car, license plate 06 BIP 779, which also contained his friend E.C.K. (24), in order to collect envelopes containing money.

The argument that broke out between M.Ç. and E.C.K., who got out of the vehicle, and the wedding party turned into a fight.

Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

While police teams were trying to break up the fight, E.C.K. fell to the ground. As M.Ç. attempted to flee the scene in his car, he ran over his friend E.C.K., who had fallen.

Following the fight, which continued for a while longer, M.Ç. put his friend E.C.K. into the car and fled the scene, ignoring the police's order to stop. During this time, police were seen firing warning shots into the air.

The two friends were caught in the Kızıl Burun area of the Günhan neighborhood following a police pursuit.

The injured individual was taken to Alaca State Hospital by medical teams called to the scene, and was subsequently transferred to Hitit University Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital.

M.Ç. and 4 people from the wedding party identified as being involved in the fight were detained by police teams and taken to the police station for questioning.

Meanwhile, the moment the car ran over E.C.K. and the two friends fled the scene in the vehicle was recorded by a business's security camera.
