He killed his roommate by crushing his head with a hammer

According to allegations, an argument broke out for an unknown reason between A.B. (55) and Osman Togo (55), who lived in the same house in the village of Bakraçboz in the town of Kozcağız.

In the incident where the argument escalated, A.B. killed his friend by crushing his head with a hammer he grabbed. A.B. carried his friend's body to the garden of the house and covered it with tree branches.

According to allegations, a relative to whom A.B. confessed to killing his roommate called the gendarmerie to report the incident. While the gendarmerie teams who went to the address upon the report found the body, A.B. was caught in the Boğaz area and taken into custody.

While it is alleged that a rope was found wrapped around his neck, the body of Osman Togo was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.

A.B., who was taken into custody, was referred to judicial authorities after his procedures at the gendarmerie. It was learned that A.B. had a prior criminal record for numerous offenses, including assault and fighting, and had served time in prison.

It was noted that Osman Togo, who was registered to the population of Dereköy in the Pazar district of Tokat, had been working as a street vendor with A.B. for some time and staying in the same house. Whether Togo died from strangulation or as a result of the hammer blows he received will be determined after the autopsy is performed.
