Heavy fine for dangerous driving on a motorcycle without a license plate
F.M.S., who was identified performing acrobatic maneuvers on a motorcycle without a license plate in Istanbul, has been fined 92 thousand liras and had their driver's license confiscated.
A driver identified as endangering traffic with a motorcycle without a license plate on the Çekmeköy-Şile road in Istanbul has faced severe sanctions.
Teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch launched an investigation following reports on August 13 that an individual was performing dangerous maneuvers in the area on a motorcycle without a license plate. As a result of the follow-up, the blue, license-plate-free motorcycle was identified on August 15.
Legal action was taken against the driver, F.M.S., for performing acrobatic maneuvers that negatively affected driving safety by skidding the motorcycle's wheels and for operating a vehicle without a license plate.
F.M.S. was issued a total administrative fine of 92 thousand liras. The driver's license was confiscated for 90 days, and the motorcycle used in the offense was banned from traffic for 90 days.
