Male body found shot near cemetery in Adıyaman
The body found near the Mahmut El Ensari Tomb on Ali Mountain has been identified as 42-year-old Ömer Tunç.
A male body was found shot near the cemetery in the vicinity of the Mahmut El Ensari Tomb in the Ali Mountain region of Adıyaman.
According to the information obtained, citizens who noticed the person lying motionless in the area reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
Checks by health teams confirmed that the person had lost his life. During the investigation at the scene, gendarmerie teams found numerous empty shell casings.
The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Ömer Tunç. The public prosecutor also conducted investigations at the scene and its surroundings.
Following the completion of the investigations, Tunç's body was taken to the Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital morgue.
It was learned that gendarmerie teams are continuing their efforts to apprehend the person or persons responsible for the incident. An investigation has been launched.
