Police take action following report of foul odor: Sad news arrives

A foul odor coming from an apartment in Zonguldak has revealed the death of 55-year-old Necmettin Sezer.

The incident occurred in an apartment building in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. Neighbors who noticed a foul odor coming from the apartment where Necmettin Sezer lived reported the situation to police teams.

Upon the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams that entered the apartment encountered Sezer's lifeless body.

Following the public prosecutor's investigation at the scene, Sezer's body was taken to the Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
