Suicide attempt at metro station: Services delayed
Metro İstanbul has announced that due to a suicide attempt at the Sanayi station, services on the M2 line are operating with transfers at 4. Levent and are experiencing delays.
Transportation in Istanbul has been disrupted due to a suicide attempt at the Sanayi station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman metro line. Metro İstanbul announced that the Sanayi station has been closed to operations following the incident.
In an announcement made on the institution's social media account, it was stated that services are being operated with transfers at the 4. Levent station and with delays in order to minimize passenger inconvenience.
According to the statement, metro trains are continuing their journeys without stopping at the Sanayi station where the incident occurred. While delays are being experienced across the line, it was reported that the closure of the station to operations was implemented as part of emergency procedures.
