Theft of 600 thousand lira and 100 quarter gold coins in Adana: Suspect who removed his helmet in the heat caught
600,000 TL and 100 quarter gold coins were stolen from a house in Seyhan. A 17-year-old suspect, who was seen removing his helmet on security camera, and another person have been arrested.
Two suspects identified as having entered a house in the Seyhan district of Adana and stolen 600,000 TL and 100 quarter gold coins from a steel safe were identified through security camera footage.
It was stated that the two helmeted suspects who arrived at the house belonging to I.Ü. first scouted the area and took action after realizing that no one was home. The suspects attempted to open the door with a crowbar they took from their motorcycle.

The suspects, who struggled with the door for minutes using a crowbar, later tried to enter using a hatchet. According to the footage, the attempt to open the door lasted approximately 26 minutes.

IDENTITY DETERMINED AFTER REMOVING HELMET
It was learned that during this time, one of the suspects, M.U.K. (17), removed his helmet and some of his clothing due to the scorching heat, and these moments were captured on security camera. Police teams determined that the person whose face was identified in the footage was M.U.K.

It was reported that the suspects who entered the house opened the steel safe in the bedroom, took the 600,000 TL and 100 quarter gold coins, and left the scene. When I.Ü. returned home and noticed the theft, the situation was reported to the police.

The teams that launched an investigation detained M.U.K. and Orhan Ö. (30). During the procedures at the police station, it was reported that M.U.K. stated they committed the theft together with Orhan Ö., while Orhan Ö. denied the accusation.
After their procedures, M.U.K. and Orhan Ö. were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the court and sent to prison.
