Two people unfurled an Abdullah Öcalan poster at the Green Left Party's 4th Ordinary Grand Congress, which took place today (Sunday, October 15).
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that the two individuals who unfurled the poster have been detained.
The statement issued by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office included the following remarks:
"Following the unfurling of a poster of the leader of the PKK/KCK armed terrorist organization at the extraordinary congress of the Greens and Left Future Party held in our province on October 15, 2023, an investigation was initiated by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and in accordance with the instructions given, 2 suspects who unfurled the posters were identified and detained."
