The Greens and Left Future Party (Green Left Party) will hold its 4th Ordinary Grand Congress tomorrow.

According to the report by Hacı Bişkin from Gazete Duvar; at the Green Left Party congress, in addition to the co-chairs, a 90 percent change is expected in the Party Assembly (PM). The party's new name, which has been under discussion for a long time, will also be announced at the congress.

Many names have been considered for the Green Left Party's name change to date. The most prominent suggestions have been 'Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party, Peoples' Equality Party, and Democratic Peoples' Party'.

The most widely accepted name has been the 'Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (HEDEP)'.

Party sources stated that they view this name favorably because it represents a 'return to the essence in Kurdish politics' and 'makes a reference to the traditions and previous parties of Kurdish politics'. Additionally, the party logo will also be unveiled at the congress to be held tomorrow.
