Ali Mahir Başarır responds to Gürsel Tekin's criticisms: 'Oh, we are so sad...'

CHP Group Deputy Chairman and Mersin Deputy Ali Mahir Başarır gave a sharp response to the "hurt feelings" expressed by Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP İstanbul Provincial Presidency, regarding CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Ali Mahir Başarır criticized Tekin's statements, stating that he no longer has a place in the party.

Başarır expressed his reaction by saying, "Oh, how sad we are, how can we fix this? What is this man talking about? What hurt feelings are you talking about?"

Furthermore, addressing Tekin, he said, "You do not exist for us, it is over now. You are finished for this party. There is only one favor you can do. Cut all your ties with the party. You are not wanted, leave."

Referring to the provincial congress to be held on September 24, Başarır emphasized that Tekin's time in the party is over, stating, "This is a bad dream, it is a test for us. You have harmed this party both spiritually and physically."
