Alliance message from Ümit Özdağ to 2 parties: 'I would not refuse to walk arm in arm'
Zafer Party leader Ümit Özdağ stated that an electoral alliance is necessary and said he is open to acting together with the IYI Party and the BTP.
Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ made evaluations regarding potential electoral alliances. Özdağ, who was a guest on the “Çalar Saat” program hosted by Ezgi Gözeger on NOW TV, was asked whether they would form an alliance with the IYI Party.
In his response, Özdağ argued that “national forces” must act together during the election process. Stating, “Whoever opposes the unification of national forces in such a process is working for the Palace,” Özdağ did not close the door on the possibility of an alliance.

Stating that the Turkish people want an electoral alliance, Özdağ used the expression, “An electoral alliance must absolutely be made because the Turkish people want it.”
Pointing to the IYI Party and the Independent Turkey Party (BTP), the Zafer Party leader said, “While the AKP, MHP, and DEM have come together, how could I, as the Chairman of the Zafer Party, refuse to walk arm in arm with the IYI Party and the BTP?”
