CHP's Akay makes KUYAŞ allegation: AK Party figures and actors in the fund investigation are in the same network
CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay has alleged that there is a network of relationships between former public officials, AK Party figures, and financial actors through KUYAŞ Yatırım A.Ş.
CHP Karabük Deputy Cevdet Akay has drawn attention to the relationships surrounding KUYAŞ Yatırım A.Ş. within the scope of the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, claiming that there is an "intricate network of relationships" between certain AK Party figures, former public officials, and financial market actors.
In a statement on his social media account, Akay mentioned the names of AKP Central Disciplinary Board Member Muaz Ergezen, former AKP Deputy Ertan Aydın, former SGK President and former Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Mehmet Selim Bağlı, and former President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency Osman Arıkan Nacar, stating, "The place that brings these names together in the same picture is KUYAŞ Yatırım A.Ş."
Stating that Mehmet Selim Bağlı was elected as an independent member of the KUYAŞ Board of Directors on February 18, 2026, Akay noted that according to the company's disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Bağlı resigned from his board membership on September 24, 2026, during a period when investigations into capital markets were on the agenda.
SHARE TRANSACTIONS AND QUESTIONS
Akay stated that in a significant share transaction carried out by KUYAŞ, Bulls Yatırım was among the selling members, while Tera Yatırım was among the buying members. Pointing to the partnership structure of Bulls Yatırım, Akay said that Neslihan Mumcu, the wife of former Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu, is among the partners of Bulls.
CHP's Akay argued that some names around Tera and Bulls have come up in fund and capital market investigations, and asked whether it was a "coincidence" that the same financial actors appeared in KUYAŞ transactions.
In his statement, Akay also included the name Ali Göl, noting that according to the partnership table dated September 30, 2026, Göl held 16 million 545 thousand 732 shares in KUYAŞ, meaning 4.14 percent of the company's capital; and that in the table dated October 1, 2026, he was no longer among the shareholders with 3 percent or more.
Akay stated that shortly after Ali Göl disposed of his shares in KUYAŞ, he was among those arrested within the scope of the investigation into capital market transactions, and posed the following questions:
Why did Ali Göl sell his 16.5 million shares in KUYAŞ? To whom did he sell them, and at what price? Is there any connection between the timing of the sale and the investigation conducted against him? Why did Mehmet Selim Bağlı resign from the KUYAŞ Board of Directors?
Akay also argued that the connection between CABA Group President Cahit Balyan, who is referred to as the largest shareholder of KUYAŞ, and Muaz Ergezen, as well as the network of relationships between Cahit Balyan, Muaz Ergezen, Osman Arıkan Nacar, and Ali Göl, must be clarified.
