CHP Chairman Özel stated in his remarks, "There is no difference between Semih Yalçın and İzzet Ulvi Yönter. They are the ones most afraid of normalization.

Yönter responded to Özgür Özel with insulting words. Yönter stated, "Talk is cheap... We have no fear, may those who fear be like you!"
