Critical week in CHP: Kılıçdaroğlu to convene MYK, PM, and provincial chairs
Meetings planned for next week in the CHP will address internal divisions, the congress calendar, the roadmap, and the September 9 program.
The CHP will experience a busy schedule of meetings next week. According to information obtained from party sources, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship with a decision of absolute nullity, will meet with the Central Executive Board (MYK), the Party Assembly (PM), and provincial chairs.
Next week will be considered a "consultation week" within the party. In the meetings, which are expected to be held on different days, internal divisions, the decision of absolute nullity, the roadmap to be followed, and the congress calendar will be discussed.
One of the important topics of the meetings will be the ordinary convention process expected to begin in September. It was stated that the calendar, which will proceed with neighborhood elections, district congresses, and provincial congresses according to the party bylaws, will be evaluated with provincial chairs, taking into account the congress processes in the provinces.
It is stated that the CHP aims to be ready for the convention if the court's injunction regarding the party is lifted. For this reason, both the preparation status of the organizations and the possible roadmap will be emphasized in the meetings.
Also on the agenda is the program for the CHP's 103rd anniversary on September 9. While the celebrations are planned to be held in a simple manner, Kılıçdaroğlu is expected to visit Anıtkabir with party members on the morning of September 9.
It was reported that as part of the program, the CHP delegation will lay a wreath at Atatürk's mausoleum and then visit the tomb of İsmet İnönü. A reception is planned to be held at the headquarters in the evening of the same day.
The exact dates of the MYK, PM, and provincial chairs meetings are expected to be finalized at the MYK meeting to be held today.
