Erdoğan speaks from Algeria: We do not accept Israel's attacks in any way
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan traveled to Algeria to attend the Second Meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council between Turkey and Algeria. Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony at Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport. Following his meeting with Tebboune, Erdoğan held a press conference.
AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan stated regarding the Israel issue, "Forcing the people of Gaza to migrate is barbarism."
Erdoğan held a bilateral meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Following the welcoming ceremony at Algiers Houari Boumediene Airport by his counterpart Tebboune, Erdoğan visited the Martyrs' Memorial.
He held a joint press conference following the signing of agreements with Algerian President Tebboune.
The highlights of Erdoğan's statements at the press conference were as follows:
We expect our trade volume, which broke a record with 5.3 billion dollars last year, to reach 6 billion dollars by the end of this year.
Our Ziraat Bank has received the necessary permits to open a branch in Algeria. May it be beneficial. This development will make a great contribution to our economic and commercial cooperation. We desire to develop our relations in the fields of energy and renewable energy by diversifying them with new partnerships.

Negotiations regarding the return of hostages are ongoing. Both our Minister of Foreign Affairs and our MIT Undersecretary are continuing the process in a joint effort with Qatar.
