Former MHP deputy passes away
Former MHP İstanbul Deputy Mustafa Verkaya has passed away. A funeral ceremony will be held for Verkaya, who served in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) as a 21st-term deputy, at Fatih Mosque on August 21.

WHO IS MUSTAFA VERKAYA?
Born in Kahramanmaraş in 1954, Mustafa Verkaya graduated from the Department of Geophysical Engineering at the Istanbul University Faculty of Engineering.
Verkaya entered the TBMM after being elected as an Istanbul deputy from the MHP in the general elections held on April 18, 1999.
Verkaya, who served as an MHP İstanbul Deputy during the 21st term, concluded his parliamentary tenure on November 3, 2002, when the elections were renewed.
