Ahmet Türk's grandson Hüseyin Reber Türk killed in armed attack! Details of the incident have emerged

The incident occurred yesterday evening under the Free Zone interchange on the Mersin-Adana D400 highway.

Hüseyin Reber Türk, the step-grandson of Ahmet Türk and nephew of Mehmet Fazıl Türk, who previously served as the Mayor of Akdeniz, had gone to a venue to socialize with his friends.

THE DISPUTE BEGAN AT THE ENTERTAINMENT VENUE

Türk and his friends got into an argument with another group at the venue for an unknown reason. Following the argument, the groups left the venue.

9-PERSON GROUP INVOLVED IN ARMED CLASH

An armed clash broke out when the 9-person group, who encountered each other under the bridge in their cars, got out of their vehicles. Türk and 2 others were injured after being struck by bullets in various parts of their bodies. Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Hüseyin Reber Türk, one of the injured taken to the hospital, lost his life. Türk's body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.

The police, who launched an operation to apprehend the suspects, have detained 6 individuals involved in the incident. Two pistols, believed to have been used in the incident, were also seized.

The interrogation of the suspects at the police station is ongoing.
