The tension that began with the 'Sheikh Said' and 'Imamoglu' debates has triggered a resignation process within the IYI Party. In the last week, news of departures has come one after another from high-level party figures and provincial boards.

Following the resignation of 12 thousand 750 people in Diyarbakir, the resignation of former IYI Party IMM Group Deputy Chairman Ibrahim Ozkan yesterday signaled that the mobility within the party will continue.

Addressing Ozkan's resignation on his social media account, Süer lashed out at those who resigned with harsh words. Targeting Ozkan, General Administrative Board member Raşit Emir Süer used the following expressions:

"Due to the Sheikh Said discourse, our Chairwoman sent Ensarioglu to the Central Disciplinary Board with a request for expulsion. The departing Diyarbakir organization was also pro-Sheikh Said, which is why they resigned.

Our Chairwoman has not bowed down to any threat since the beginning of the process. She has not spoken behind anyone who left. All those who speak are aware that they have betrayed their cause and their fellow travelers; they are trying to change the subject to suppress their own immorality. It is as clear as day what the purpose of those who smear serves.

We took Istanbul and Ankara from the AKP. We said; whoever takes Istanbul and Ankara takes the country. It didn't happen that way. The CHP, which took Istanbul and Ankara, became a small AKP. Politicians who became prisoners of the power in the hands of the CHP abandoned their cause. We are standing where we should stand, and like lions. Despite all the pressure, psychological violence, siege, and harassment.
