Meral Akşener evaluates the decision to send the Can Atalay file to the Court of Cassation
İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener shared a post on her social media X account regarding the Can Atalay file and the country's economic situation.
In her post on social media, Akşener commented on the decision to send the Can Atalay file to the Court of Cassation, stating, "The opportunity to end the conflict between our state's institutions has been squandered once again."
Akşener stated the following in her message:
"Following the Constitutional Court's second ruling of rights violation regarding Can Atalay, the Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court, which is the first-instance stage of the problem, decided to send the file back to the Court of Cassation. Thus, the opportunity to end the conflict between our state's institutions has been squandered once again.
Unfortunately, it is our nation that loses in the face of this mentality that shelves the rule of law.
While the government is busy creating a constitutional state crisis with its own hands, millions of our people continue to struggle in a spiral of high cost of living.
MERAL AKŞENER POINTS TO LOCAL ELECTIONS
But let no one worry; our nation will give the necessary response at the ballot box to this management mentality that feeds on poverty, lawlessness, crisis, and polarization.
The local administration elections to be held on March 31 will be a historic day when our nation will cast its vote in favor of rights, fairness, and justice!"
