Message on the Circassian Genocide from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel shared a message regarding the 160th anniversary of the Circassian Genocide and exile.

In a post on his official X account, Özel stated the following:

"On the anniversary of a great tragedy in which 1.5 million Circassians were exiled from their homelands, I commemorate those who lost their lives during the exile and share the pain of the descendants of the Circassians living in Turkey today."
