MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın issued a written statement regarding the political activities that the MHP will carry out in the new term.

Yalçın announced that the Central Executive Committee (MYK) meeting will be held on September 19 with the participation of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, and the Provincial Presidents meeting will be held on September 21.

In his statement, Semih Yalçın drew attention to the importance of the domestic and foreign issues that Turkey will face in the upcoming legislative term, claiming that the new term will be an "examination phase" for political parties in terms of solving Turkey's internal problems and reaching global goals.

REACTION TO EARLY ELECTION CALLS

Regarding the opposition parties' calls for early elections, Yalçın stated, "In particular, it is important to see to what extent the opposition parties will contribute to overcoming the domestic and foreign obstacles before Turkey, instead of playing to the gallery and 'dreaming of early elections.' The MHP will continue to strive to fulfill its duty with all its strength and sincerity in the new term to clear the artificial landslide stones placed on the road to slow down Turkey."

Yalçın stated that the MYK meeting will be held on September 19 at the MHP Headquarters with the participation of MHP Leader Devlet Bahçeli, and the Provincial Presidents meeting will be held on September 21, and made the following remarks:

"On the occasion of these meetings, all priority issues on Turkey's agenda will be discussed and ideas will be exchanged. The joint decisions to be reached in line with the views put forward at these meetings will be a guide in determining our party's subsequent political steps."
