Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) President Nechirvan Barzani issued a statement following the adoption by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) of the "Bill on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration," which is considered the legal basis for the "Terror-Free Turkey" process.
Barzani stated that he welcomed the adoption of the regulation, noting that the step is significant not only for Turkey but also for regional security and stability.
In his statement, the KRG President said, "This courageous step is an important turning point on the path to ensuring lasting peace, tranquility, and stability in Turkey and the entire region."

Barzani's statement also included a message of thanks to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The KRG President expressed, "I extend my appreciation and congratulations to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and to all the leaders and parties who contributed to the implementation of this law."
