President Erdoğan: 'We have ended the dominance of the privileged'
In his speech at the opening of Rixos Tersane Istanbul, President Erdoğan stated that they always support investors, saying, "For us, there is no distinction between domestic and foreign investors. There is only the investor who produces added value for the Turkish economy."
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements at the opening ceremony of Rixos Tersane Istanbul held in Beyoğlu.
Congratulating the Rixos Hotel Group and Fettah Tamince, Erdoğan emphasized that this investment, which adds new value to Istanbul's historic shipyard area, will contribute to the country's tourism and economy.

'IT WILL ADD BEAUTY TO THE BEAUTY OF RIXOS TERSANE ISTANBUL'
Speaking about the newly opened Rixos Tersane Istanbul, Erdoğan said, "I believe that Rixos Tersane Istanbul, with its total of 432 rooms and 539-bed capacity, will add beauty to the beauty of the 600-year-old Tersane Istanbul area."
'WE HAVE NOT DISTINGUISHED BETWEEN DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN INVESTORS'
Stating that they are always by the side of investors as a government, Erdoğan said, "We have supported with good intentions everyone who works for our country, provides employment, and contributes to the Turkish economy. We have ended the old mentality where capital was divided by colors, where only certain circles received support from the state, and where the privileged established dominance in the business world just as they did in every other area of life."

'IT IS OUR DUTY TO CLEAR THE PATH FOR INVESTORS'
Emphasizing in his speech that they support every investor who produces added value for the Turkish economy without making a distinction between domestic and foreign, Erdoğan said, "We have always said this: For us, there is no domestic or foreign investor. There is the investor who produces added value for the Turkish economy. It is our duty to our nation to clear the path for our business circles. We stand by all our entrepreneurs who use the earnings they obtain in our country or abroad for the growth of the Turkish economy. We will continue to support our business world from now on as well."
