Saadet Party's response to AKP's İzmir video will anger Erdoğan! 'With a surprise fund'
The Saadet Party responded to the AKP's İzmir post with a new video containing a reference to a funding scandal. The post became a trending topic on social media.
Following allegations that İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay would join the AKP, a video titled "İzmir" published by the AKP's social media account was brought to the agenda by a striking counter-post from the Saadet Party.
In the AKP's approximately 30-second video, images of flowers blooming among piles of trash were featured. The "İzmir March" was used as the background music in the video.
The Saadet Party responded with a video in which they re-edited the AKP's post. In the video published on the party's social media account, images of AKP figures previously associated with a funding scandal were shown following the images of trash piles from the AKP's video.

In the continuation of the video, scenes were used showing the individuals in question counting money in front of them. The Saadet Party announced its post with the note "With a surprise fund."
