Tayfun Kahraman hospitalized! Reactions from CHP figures

Tayfun Kahraman, a convict in the Gezi Park trial who suffers from MS, has been hospitalized. Announcing that Kahraman had been taken to the hospital, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik stated, "This issue must be resolved before the price of delaying justice becomes too heavy."

CHP MP Gökan Zeybek reacted to the situation on his social media account.

Zeybek used the following expressions:

"What conscience can justify what you are doing?

Tayfun Kahraman has been deprived of his freedom and kept away from his loved ones for months. 

The facts were ignored, the evidence was disregarded. A family's life has been turned upside down for the sake of political calculations.

A punishment that disregards human dignity is not justice, but a show of force by the authority.

We cannot wait any longer while Tayfun Kahraman's health is at risk. 

What was done inside the prison vehicle is still in our memory. This sin will stay with you for a lifetime; this public will not forget this oppression."
