Cübbeli Ahmet: I view Başak Demirtaş's candidacy very favorably because Ekrem İmamoğlu would lose
Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known as 'Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca', stated that he views the potential Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) candidacy of Başak Demirtaş, wife of Selahattin Demirtaş, 'very favorably,' adding, 'Ekrem Bey would lose.'
Başak Demirtaş, the wife of imprisoned former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, stated that she could be a candidate for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor if the DEM Party deems it appropriate.
Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known as 'Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca', was a guest on the Taksim Meydanı program broadcast on tv100, where he made statements regarding the current agenda.
"WE ARE ON THE SIDE OF THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE"
In response to Gürkan Hacır's question, "In the last election, the 2019 election, while İmamoğlu and Binali Yıldırım were competing, you said, 'I support Binali Yıldırım.' Is there a candidate you support in this election, specifically for Istanbul?", Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca replied, "What is the need to say that? We are on the side of the People's Alliance (Cumhur), that is, always. I see that the People's Alliance is appropriate right now as well."
"I VIEW BAŞAK DEMİRTAŞ'S CANDIDACY VERY FAVORABLY"
To Yarkadaş's question, "How do you view Ms. Başak Demirtaş's candidacy?", Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca replied, "I view it very favorably."
When Yarkadaş asked, "Why?", Cübbeli Ahmet Hoca responded by saying, "Because Ekrem Bey would lose."
