The biggest agenda in the technology world, especially for the last few years, has been adding artificial intelligence to tools or products. Many companies have incorporated tools like ChatGPT into their operations, but no such move had come from Apple.
According to journalist Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, this is about to change.
He states that Apple is preparing to add advanced artificial intelligence features to its broad product ecosystem. Apple's biggest artificial intelligence breakthrough so far has been the improved autocorrect feature added to the iOS 17 keyboard.
Microsoft and Google are adding generative artificial intelligence to their own search engines or assistant tools.
Apple CEO Tim Cook had also stated that the company is working on generative artificial intelligence.
The company is currently testing a language model also referred to as Ajax. It is said that instead of an artificial intelligence tool that is never used or left hanging, Apple is developing a language model or tool that works integrated into its products. It is even reported that Apple will allocate approximately 1 billion dollars per year to this effort.
Siri naturally comes into play here as well. There are plans to add new advanced features to Siri and have it work with generative artificial intelligence.
Another point is Apple's goals to integrate generative artificial intelligence into tools like Xcode. In this way, developers could build applications more quickly.
The development of artificial intelligence-supported features for Apple Music and their integration into services like AppleCare are also on the agenda.
