According to 404 Media, Swift will not let this incident go and will file a lawsuit regarding the matter. The media platform also began an investigation by tracking the images. It learned that the fake images published here originated from a community on Telegram 'dedicated to obscene images of women.' It reported that obscene images of women produced by artificial intelligence using Microsoft Designer were shared in this community.

Mason Allen, head of growth at the deepfake detection group Reality Defender, said, "Unfortunately, they spread to millions of users before some of them were removed."
