When Fortnite was released in 2017, it made a huge impact and was widely loved. The game was launched after PUBG became a hit and gained massive popularity. Although Fortnite, which served as an alternative to it, held its place as the most-played game on the charts for several years, it had not been talked about for a while. In addition to this, the reintroduction of the original map to the game seems to have drawn gamers back to Fortnite.

44 MILLION ACTIVE PLAYERS

The game managed to break a new record in both concurrent player count and total player count. Furthermore, playtime also reached a record high.

In a post shared on Fortnite's X account, it was announced that 44 million 700 thousand players were active with the map known as FortniteOG, which must have excited gamers now that it is playable again.

Another statistic was the total time spent by players. 102 million hours were spent in the game.
