Touch controls are coming to the Xbox app
Microsoft will offer an experience for the Xbox app that eliminates the need to connect a controller to your phone.
Previously, Microsoft's Xbox app required a controller to be connected to the device to play games directly from your phone. In other words, the phone screen alone was not sufficient for this process. As revealed in Microsoft's new beta version, the company will make things more practical by adding touch controls directly to the phone screen.
MICROSOFT'S XBOX APP WILL WORK WITHOUT A CONTROLLER
While this feature will arrive on Xbox in the future, it is already available on PlayStation as Remote Play.
As reported by The Verge, this capability appears to be in the testing phase for both the iOS and Android versions of the Xbox app.
