Users had reported overheating issues with iOS 17, particularly on the Pro models of the newly introduced iPhone 15 series from Apple. Some users reported skin burns due to temperatures exceeding 40 degrees while using the phone.

Tests conducted on iPhone 15 Pro models confirmed this situation, with thermal cameras detecting that the phone heated up to 45 degrees, especially while charging.
Apple acknowledged the situation and released the iOS 17.0.3 update.
It has emerged that the iOS 17.0.3 update resolves the overheating issue without causing a loss in performance. iPhones no longer heat up enough to burn the hand, and their performance does not drop. In fact, the temperature of iPhone 15 Pros, which reached up to 42 degrees with the iOS 17 update, dropped to 35 degrees after the iOS 17.0.3 update.
