Aleksey Batrakov, whom Galatasaray has begun official negotiations to sign from Lokomotiv Moscow, has arrived in Istanbul.
Galatasaray has reached a significant stage in its pursuit of Russian footballer Aleksey Batrakov for a midfield transfer. The yellow-red club announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that it has begun official negotiations with the young player, who currently plays for Lokomotiv Moscow, and his club.
In the statement made by the club to KAP, it was stated, "Official negotiations have begun with professional footballer Aleksey Batrakov and his club, Lokomotiv Moscow, regarding his transfer."
It was noted that Galatasaray, continuing its transfer efforts, is set to make another addition to its midfield following Lesley Ugochukwu. Batrakov, with whom an agreement has been reached, arrived in Istanbul around noon today.
The Russian midfielder has recorded 34 goals in 84 matches during his career at Lokomotiv Moscow. Batrakov has also scored 4 goals in 12 appearances for the Russian National Team.
