Beşiktaş sets its sights on Benfica star: €20 million offer
It has been claimed that Beşiktaş, continuing its search for a right winger, has made an offer to Benfica for Dodi Lukebakio consisting of a €3 million loan fee and a €17 million purchase option.
A new development has emerged regarding Dodi Lukebakio, one of the names on the agenda for the right-wing position at Beşiktaş, which is continuing its transfer efforts. It has been stated that the Black and Whites have begun official initiatives for the 28-year-old Belgian footballer who plays for Benfica.
According to a report by Sabah, the Beşiktaş management has submitted an offer to the Portuguese club for Lukebakio that includes a €3 million loan fee and a €17 million purchase option. It was stated that the total package reaches the €20 million level.
It was noted that Benfica is more inclined to sell the experienced player permanently rather than through a loan formula, and that the requested fee is at similar levels to the package prepared by the Black and Whites. It was reported that Beşiktaş wants to conclude the transfer on its own terms.

Following the recent addition of Dusan Vlahovic to the squad, the priority for the Black and Whites has shifted to right-wing and midfield transfers. After these two positions, work is also expected to be done for the center-back line.
Lukebakio, who was transferred to Benfica from Sevilla at the beginning of last season for €20 million, is also a teammate of Beşiktaş's new signing Trossard on the Belgium national team. The player, who has worn the national jersey 33 times, has a current market value of €15 million.
Lukebakio performed with 2 goals and 5 assists in 25 matches last season. The Belgian footballer has started this season with 1 goal and 1 assist in 4 matches.
