Beşiktaş sets its sights on Benfica star: €20 million offer

A new development has emerged regarding Dodi Lukebakio, one of the names on the agenda for the right-wing position at Beşiktaş, which is continuing its transfer efforts. According to a report by Sabah, the Beşiktaş management has submitted an offer to the Portuguese club for Lukebakio that includes a €3 million loan fee and a €17 million purchase option. It was stated that the total package reaches the €20 million level.

It was noted that Benfica is more inclined to sell the experienced player permanently rather than through a loan formula, and that the requested fee is at similar levels to the package prepared by the Black and Whites. It was reported that Beşiktaş wants to conclude the transfer on its own terms.

Following the recent addition of Dusan Vlahovic to the squad, the priority for the Black and Whites has shifted to right-wing and midfield transfers. After these two positions, work is also expected to be done for the center-back line.
