Chibuike Nwaiwu: We achieved a result with a wide margin

In the 6th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Trabzonspor defeated Galatasaray 4-0 at home. Speaking to reporters after the match, the burgundy-blue team's player Chibuike Nwaiwu said, "First of all, I would like to thank our fans who supported us here until the last minute. We dedicate this victory to them. It was a difficult week. We worked for this match all week following our defeat. We managed to win with our new coach."

"The coaching changes we experience are things that happen in football," said Chibuike Nwaiwu, adding, "We had to focus on our work. I can say that he is a very good coach. I think he can be a part of this family. I hope that we will achieve many successes together and win many matches."

Noting that they went into the halftime break with a wide lead, Chibuike Nwaiwu stated, "In the locker room, together with my teammates, we talked about how we needed to protect the score and that we could finish this match with an even wider margin, in line with what our coach told us. We were facing a big team. We had a discussion about how we needed to continue seriously. We achieved a result with a wide margin. We need to look ahead by continuing to work hard."
