In the AFC Champions League league stage, Al Nassr left the pitch with a 3-1 victory against Neftchi. Cristiano Ronaldo, who found the back of the net once again in the match, was one of the standout names in his team's win.
The Portuguese star, playing for the Saudi Arabian representative that started the match effectively, scored his team's second goal in the first half. Ayman Yahya, who received the ball in an attack initiated by Sadio Mane, spotted Ronaldo in a favorable position. The 41-year-old footballer capitalized on this opportunity to extend the lead to two.
With this goal, the total number of goals in Ronaldo's professional career reached 981. The Portuguese player, regarded as one of the most prolific goalscorers in football history, now needs 19 more goals to reach the 1000-goal milestone.
Continuing his scoring contribution in an Al Nassr jersey, Ronaldo continues to step by step approach one of the most remarkable milestones of his career.
