Fenerbahçe's play-off opponent has been determined
Fenerbahçe's opponent in the UEFA Champions League play-off round is the French side Olympique Lyon.
Fenerbahçe defeated the Austrian team Sturm Graz 1-0 in the away leg of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round. Having won the first leg at home 2-0, the yellow-navies advanced to the UEFA Champions League play-off round with a 3-0 aggregate score.
The Canary's opponent in the play-off round has also been determined. Fenerbahçe will face the French team Olympique Lyon, which defeated the Czech side Sparta Prag 3-0. Sparta Prag had won the first leg between the two teams at home 2-1.
The first leg of the play-off round between Fenerbahçe and Lyon will be played on August 18, and the return leg will be played on August 26. The side that wins the tie will qualify for the UEFA Champions League league phase.
