Fenerbahçe's player sales revenue reaches 178.7 million euros in 5 years
Earning 27 million euros from the departures of Fred, Sidiki Cherif, and Omar Fayed, Fenerbahçe has increased its total player sales revenue over the last 5 years to 178.7 million euros.
While strengthening its squad with new transfers, Fenerbahçe has also drawn attention with the revenue generated from player sales. The yellow-navy club has generated a total of 27 million euros from the recent departures of Fred, Sidiki Cherif, and Omar Fayed.
The yellow-navy side sent Fred to Atletico Mineiro, Sidiki Cherif to Coventry City, and Omar Fayed to Frosinone. Among these three departures, the highest transfer fee revenue came from the sale of Sidiki Cherif.
The 24.5 million euros paid by Coventry City for Sidiki Cherif has been recorded as the third-highest transfer fee revenue in Fenerbahçe's history.

Following these departures, the number of foreign players in the Fenerbahçe squad has dropped to 21. To form a squad compliant with the 10+4 foreign player rule, the yellow-navy side needs to part ways with 9 more foreign players.
