Fenerbahçe stays in the race, makes a comeback in 5 minutes
In the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe defeated Samsunspor 3-2 in a match where they fell behind twice.
Fenerbahçe and Samsunspor faced off in the 25th week of the Süper Lig.
Samsunspor took the lead in the 11th minute of the match with their striker Marius Mouandilmadji. Four minutes after this goal, Fenerbahçe equalized with Matteo Guendouzi.
In the 23rd minute, Mouandilmadji scored his and Samsunspor's second goal for the visiting team. The score did not change in the remaining time, and Samsunspor went into the break leading 2-1.
While the majority of the second half was dominated by Samsunspor, Fenerbahçe equalized the score with Nene in the 89th minute.
In the stoppage time of the match, Fenerbahçe took the lead with Sidiki Cherif in the 90+5th minute. The yellow-navy team won the match 3-2, bringing their points total to 57. Samsunspor remained at 32 points.
Fenerbahçe will face Fatih Karagümrük away in the league next week. Samsunspor will host Kayserispor.
