First statement from Arda Turan regarding the Seçil Erzan case! He shared it on social media...
Eyüpspor Manager Arda Turan has made his first statement on his social media account following reports about him regarding the Seçil Erzan case, which has become a major topic of discussion in Turkey.
Arda Turan, who is alleged to have been defrauded by banker Seçil Erzan with the promise of a fund, has broken his silence for the first time following the reports about him.
Seçil Erzan, a bank branch manager at Denizbank, was arrested on allegations of deceiving and taking money from many people, including Arda Turan and various businesspeople, with the promise of a high-interest fund.
While many allegations have been made regarding the incident that has occupied public opinion in recent days, Arda Turan, who is said to have lost approximately 14 million Euros and recovered a portion of it, made a post on his social media account.
In posts shared on social media earlier in the day, statements attributed to Arda Turan included: “I have played 600 matches. I have worn the national team jersey over 100 times. The money I was defrauded of is not even 1/6th of my fortune. The only thing that upsets me is that no one called to ask about me.”
“NOT A SINGLE WORD…”
Making a post on his Instagram account regarding the matter, Arda Turan said: “There is a process that has been referred to the judiciary. Out of respect for justice, I have not made a single statement regarding the matter, and I will not. Please do not give credence to words spread in my name. Respectfully.”
