Former Argentine footballer Carlos Tevez has been hospitalized due to chest pain. A statement regarding Tevez's health status has been released by the Argentine club Independiente.
In a statement released by the Argentine club Independiente, which he manages, it was noted that 40-year-old Carlos Tevez will be kept under observation in the hospital until his treatment is completed.
Tevez, who won championships in his career with Manchester City, Manchester United, and Juventus, took charge of Independiente last summer.
The statement from Independiente is as follows:
"Our coach Carlos Tevez went to La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro due to chest pain. The relevant tests were performed. A series of previously planned tests will be conducted today as part of a general check-up. Carlos Tevez will remain in the hospital as a precaution until the relevant tests are completed."
It was learned that Tevez, who is alleged to suffer from high blood pressure, undergoes regular health check-ups.
