İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu: We should have scored a few more
Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu commented on Galatasaray's victory, saying, "We should have scored a few more."
Galatasaray defeated English side Liverpool 1-0 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. The goal that secured the win for the Lions was scored by Mario Lemina in the 7th minute, with an assist from Victor Osimhen. With this result in Istanbul, the yellow-red team will head to the return leg in England with a one-goal advantage.
TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu followed the Galatasaray-Liverpool match in person. Arriving at RAMS Park before the match, TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu was welcomed by executive İbrahim Hatipoğlu.
Speaking to Sporcast after the match, Hacıosmanoğlu stated, "I found Galatasaray's performance good, but we should have scored a few more. It's left for England," he said.
