Following the handover process that took place approximately two months ago at Istanbul Park, work has begun to renovate the track.

Speaking to 12punto, Istanbul Park officials stated that they found some parts of the track they took over in a worn-out condition and that they immediately began making arrangements.

Emphasizing that intense efforts are being made for the return of Formula 1, the officials drew attention to the importance of keeping the track constantly active.

FIRST EVENT HELD

The first event was held at the track last weekend in cooperation with the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED). The track was made available to Turkish athletes and hosted the Turkish Track Championship. It was noted that in this organization, where the garages were opened for the use of athletes, the public also had the opportunity to watch the races for free.

ISTANBUL PARK WILL BECOME A LIVING SPACE

In the coming period, it is planned to organize more training sessions and events at Istanbul Park with the contributions of the motorcycle federation. Different events such as launches, festivals, and concerts will also be held at the track, which also attracts the attention of automobile brands.
