Motorcyclists hold 'Victory Ride' to Kocatepe on the 104th anniversary of the Great Victory

As part of the 104th anniversary of the Great Victory, motorcycle enthusiasts in Afyonkarahisar held a meaningful ride to Kocatepe. Approximately 100 motorcycle enthusiasts and athletes participated in the event, which was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Afyonkarahisar Governorship, the Afyonkarahisar Municipality, and the Turkish Motorcycle Federation.

The convoy, which started from the festival area in the morning, first reached Monument Square in the city center of Afyonkarahisar. Participants gathered in the square wearing t-shirts featuring the national flag and carrying Turkish flags.

The start of the Victory Ride was signaled by Afyonkarahisar Deputy Mayor Ömer Yıldız and Turkish Motorcycle Federation Vice President Mahmut Nedim Akülke. Following the program, the motorcyclists moved in a convoy toward Kocatepe, where the Great Offensive began.

CEREMONY HELD IN KOCATEPE

During the ceremony held in Kocatepe, a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung. The event highlighted the spirit of the national struggle on the lands where the Great Victory was won.

After the ceremony, the motorcyclists returned from Kocatepe as a group. The organizers stated that the Victory Ride keeps the meaning and importance of the August 30 Victory Day alive through the unifying power of sports.

Throughout the event, the enthusiasm of the participants and the gathering in Kocatepe created colorful scenes in Afyonkarahisar on the anniversary of the Great Victory.
