National kickboxers win 5 gold medals at world championship
National athletes won five world titles in K1 and full contact at the Youth World Kickboxing Championship in Jesolo, Italy.
Athletes competing for Turkey at the Youth World Kickboxing Championship held in Jesolo, Italy, secured five gold medals in the K1 and full contact disciplines.
According to the statement from the Turkish Kickboxing Federation, Hasan Gök became the world champion in the +91 kg category, and Yiğit Şişman in the 57 kg category in the K1 discipline.
The national team also won three gold medals in the full contact discipline. Yusuf Samed Kirişli in the +91 kg category, Sude Kaygusuz in the 52 kg category, and Ezel Nur Karalar in the 56 kg category reached the top of the podium.
Turkey participated in the championship with a total of 101 athletes across six different disciplines.
