Djokovic, who reached the quarterfinals by defeating Francisco Cerundolo 3-2 in the tournament held in the capital Paris, is unable to continue in the tournament.
FAREWELL DUE TO RIGHT KNEE INJURY
The Serbian tennis player withdrew from the tournament due to his right knee injury. Following this development, Jannik Sinner has become the new world number 1. Casper Ruud, who was set to face Djokovic in the quarterfinals, has thus advanced to the semifinals.
Djokovic had been forced to take a medical timeout during his match against Cerundolo.
