In the match played at Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, Poland took the lead by winning the first set 25-19. Latvia leveled the score in the second set with a 25-23 result, but Poland regained the lead by taking the third set 25-22.
Establishing a 26-24 superiority over its opponent in the competitive fourth set, Poland won the match 3-1 and made no mistakes in the group.
The sets in the match ended 25-19, 23-25, 25-22, and 26-24. The match lasted a total of 136 minutes.
In the match, Lampkowska, Jurczyk, Wenerska, Piasecka, Koput, and Stysiak were in the starting six for Poland. Latvia took the court with Neciporuka, Struka, Levinska, Jurdza, Rita, and Dolotova.
