Fenerbahçe High Council President Şekip Mosturoğlu spoke about the new process in the 2015 armed attack case.
Fenerbahçe High Council President Şekip Mosturoğlu made statements regarding the investigation into the armed attack on the Fenerbahçe team bus in 2015.
Stating that there were previously deficiencies in the investigation file, Mosturoğlu said that the perpetrators were reached through a new assessment. Mosturoğlu used the following expressions: “The evidence in the file was not collected, the existing evidence was not evaluated, and the file was closed without reaching the perpetrators. By conducting a re-evaluation, the perpetrators were reached. I believe these perpetrators will not be limited to 5 people.”
Stating that they also want the process regarding the May 12 incident to be clarified, Mosturoğlu said, “Our fans were subjected to torture in our stadium. That file is also ready at the Çağlayan Courthouse.”
Emphasizing that the file has been followed by the club for a long time, Mosturoğlu stated that the work continued during the Ali Koç era after the Aziz Yıldırım era. Mosturoğlu said, “Let me state to you that this file is actually being examined in all its dimensions without targeting institutions or individuals, and that everything is ready and waiting in our hands. We continued our work uninterruptedly during Mr. Ali Koç's term following Mr. Aziz Yıldırım's term in office.”
