TFF launches Fantasy League: Fans to build squads with a 100 million TL virtual budget

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has launched the TFF Fantasy League, which football fans can play via a mobile app and the internet. The application was introduced at the TFF's Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities in Riva.

The launch was attended by TFF Secretary General Abdullah Ayaz, board members, and guests. Stating that the project is a new step in the digital transformation of football, Ayaz said that fans will no longer just follow matches, but will be involved in the excitement of the league throughout the season with their own squads.

Emphasizing that fantasy football is followed by millions of people around the world, Ayaz pointed out that younger generations experience football through phones, computers, and digital platforms. Stating that the project will also create new revenue and engagement opportunities for clubs, Ayaz noted that they aim to include football fans from abroad in the TFF Fantasy League as well.

According to information provided during the presentation where TFF Digital Leagues Manager Polat Güngör explained the details of the game, users will build a squad every week with a virtual budget of 100 million TL allocated to them. The weekly performances of the players in the squad in the Süper Lig will be reflected in the users' scores.

Users who are successful in the weekly and general rankings in the game will be able to win various prizes. The prizes include the opportunity to watch the A National Football Team's UEFA Nations League A matches against Italy, France, and Belgium from the stands. Surprise gifts will be given to those who finish the season in the top 3 in the general classification.

The meeting ended with the screening of a commercial featuring A National Football Team players Arda Güler, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, and Kenan Yıldız.
