The Sultans of the Net seek victory against Slovenia

The A National Women's Volleyball Team will take on Slovenia in their second test at the Trendyol 2026 European Championship. Competing in Group A, the crescent-stars will take the court at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall on Sunday, August 23.

The Turkey-Slovenia match will begin at 19:00. The national team is in the same group as Latvia, Poland, Germany, Slovenia, and Hungary in the tournament.

The Sultans of the Net passed Latvia without dropping a set in their first match of the championship. The crescent-star team started the tournament with a victory, defeating their opponent 3-0 with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-16.

In the European Championship, where six teams compete in each of the four different groups, the teams that finish their groups in the top 4 will advance to the round of 16.
