Trabzonspor exits Banks Association agreement
Trabzonspor has become the first Süper Lig team to exit the Banks Association agreement. According to the statement made by the burgundy-blue club, it was stated that the club has no remaining principal or interest debt.
Süper Lig side Trabzonspor has become the first team to exit the Banks Association agreement.
The following statement was included in the announcement made on the burgundy-blue team's official website:
"Within the scope of the loan agreement signed between our Company and the consortium consisting of T.C. Ziraat Bankası, Denizbank, and Türkiye Halk Bankası in the 06/2019 period, which was restructured in the 03/2021 period with its maturity extended until the 05/2030 period, and known publicly as the Banks Association restructuring, all loans utilized by our Company and the interest related to these loans have been fully paid off.
Accordingly, our company has no remaining principal or interest debt to the banks."
